This project has been included on the website for our its historic significance. It was the first multi-million pound project which we undertook and it moulded the future development of the Practice.

We were commissioned by the PSA to undertake the rehabilitation of the historic fortification as a base for a modern infantry battalion. Our portion of the project included the redevelopment of the main Barrack Square for living accommodation for Junior Ranks, the erection of the Physical and Recreational Training Centre and associated Specialist Training Area (about 1000 metres inland from the point at Ardesier) and to be superintending architect of the entire redevelopment of the Ancient Monument.
