Client: Canmore Housing Association

The Crescent was proposed as part of the Practice’s masterplan for the Morrison Street area, and as such acknowledges the Circus designed by the Practice to the east. The building form and architectural language relate to the Circus, yet develop their own rhythms and details. This gives the building an individual presence within an architectural whole and establishes a contextual link with the formal architecture of Edinburgh's New Town.
