Sponsorship
The Practice has been involved in sponsoring photography
since the early 1980’s commencing with Murray
Johnston at Stills Photography Gallery in 1982 and
the Man Ray exhibition at the RSA. Subsequently we
collaborated with Murray to move Stills to new premises
in 1983, and thereafter hosted Scottish Photographic
Works exhibitions in 1989 and 1990 by Andy Weiner
and Robin Gillanders respectively.

In 2000 Jim Landels joined the Action Committee who
were trying to establish a Scottish National Photographic
Centre (SNPC) in the former Royal High School on Calton
Hill. Jim became a Director and Trustee of SNPC Ltd.
in 2002.
